Mindful Parenting is a Four-Week Course
Mondays: Feb 1, 8, 15 & 22 from 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Madison Community House — $80/person
Mindfulness is a kind of brain training that helps us manage our emotions, strengthen our concentration and attend to our children and loved ones, with more kindness and patience. As neuroscientists have discovered, our brains build more connections in the areas we use the most. Mindfulness helps us use the positive aspects of our minds and calm our nervous systems and lower our stress levels.
In this four-week class, you will learn how to create a personal mindfulness practice and become a safe place for yourself, your spouse and your kids.
- How Mindfulness Strengthens Your Family’s Life
- Building Emotional Resilience and Inner Calm
- Mindful Tools for Skillful Parenting
- Empathy, Acceptance & Gratitude — Seeds of Happiness
Come learn why astronauts, Apple executives and professional athletes have adopted these practices to enjoy their best lives.
