How do we teach kids to pay attention? Calm down? Regulate their emotions? In this new set of Beginning Mindfulness Classes, kids will learn lifelong skills that will help them place their attention where they want it to be, calm down large emotions, lower their stress, relax tension in their bodies and recognize and de-activate the fight-flight-freeze mode.
The more kids learn how to pay attention to how they’re feeling and where they are, the more able they are to relax their systems, manage their emotions and increase their focus and concentration. People who practice mindfulness have lower stress levels, more empathy and greater attention skills.
